A workplace is the first proof of how a company thinks. For Petrasys, that proof had to say precision, advancement, and technological leadership. KNS Archipelago, a specialist in professional office interior design and fit-out in Indonesia, delivered that message through a 200 sqm design-and-build project at Graha Paramitha II, Tangerang.

Here is how the design came together.

The Brief: An Office That Reflects Technological Leadership

Petrasys needed more than desks and meeting rooms. The brief called for a space that encourages collaboration, supports modern ways of working, and projects a strong corporate identity to every visitor.

The program covered ten zones within 200 sqm: reception, big and small meeting rooms, a principal lounge, two director rooms, an open workstation area, a collaboration area, a finance and HR room, and a server room.

Design Concept: Three Ideas, One Workplace

KNS Archipelago built the concept on three connected pillars:

  • Digital Innovation Workplace: a space that encourages creativity and continuous innovation.

  • Intelligent Workplace: a smart, efficient layout that supports productivity and connectivity.

  • Futuristic Corporate Identity: a high-tech environment that expresses the brand.

The visual language follows from these. Futuristic geometry, integrated lighting, and clean white surfaces are lifted by blue accents and stainless steel on a charcoal-grey base.

Reception: A Brand Statement in 14 Square Meters

The reception is small, so every detail has to work. A curved, brushed-stainless-steel desk anchors the space, and behind it a deep-blue glass panel with a backlit logo frames the Petrasys identity. Continuous LED lines trace the ceiling and wall edges, giving the lobby its signature “light as architecture” look.

The lesson for any office fit-out: a compact entrance can feel premium if you limit the palette and invest in one hero element.

Open Workstation: Structure Without Rigidity

The 54 sqm working area uses Y-shaped workstations that group staff into collaborative clusters instead of rigid rows. Mobile pedestals keep storage flexible, and low dividers balance privacy with openness.

Two details carry the zone:

  • A circular blue ceiling void. Exposed ducts and services are painted in brand blue and framed by a white ceiling ring. This turns a technical necessity into a focal point and avoids the cost of hiding everything.

  • Patterned carpet tile in blue and grey. The geometric layout guides movement and marks the work zone visually. A planter box and built-in cabinetry with blue accent lines soften the space.

Meeting Rooms and Director Rooms: Calm, Clean, Controlled

The meeting rooms use a white-and-stainless palette that keeps attention on the conversation. Backlit glass boards, frameless tempered-glass partitions, and a soft luminous ceiling panel keep the rooms bright without glare.

In the director's rooms, a sculptural white desk, glass-fronted cabinets with blue detailing, and a compact lounge chair or high table setting create an executive feel without heavy, traditional furniture. The blue floor accent under the standing table repeats the open-office language and ties the private rooms back to the whole.

Material Palette: Few Materials, Used Consistently

A restrained palette is what makes the office look cohesive:

  • HPL steel foil finish and stainless panels for the metallic, high-tech feel.

  • Glasstone Superwhite for glossy, clean wall surfaces and glass boards.

  • Tempered glass with aluminum frames for transparency and daylight.

  • Carpet tile and vinyl flooring for acoustics, durability, and easy replacement.

  • Brand-blue paint used sparingly as the accent.

Using few materials repeatedly keeps costs manageable and the result visually calm, even with a bold concept.

Why Design and Build Works for Office Projects

This project ran as a design-and-build engagement, so concept, layout, furniture, finishing, and mechanical and electrical works were handled by one team. For clients, that means:

  1. One point of accountability from the first sketch to handover.

  2. Fewer coordination gaps between design intent and site execution.

  3. Clearer budgeting, because design decisions are tied to real material and build costs.

Planning Your Own Office Fit-Out?

The Petrasys project shows that a strong office identity does not require excess. It requires a clear concept, a disciplined material palette, and a team that can carry the design through to execution.

If you are planning an office interior in Tangerang, Jakarta, or elsewhere in Indonesia, KNS Archipelago can help you move from concept to a finished workspace. Visit www.kns-archipelago.com to start the conversation.
